At Little Life Preschool we know that you want to provide your child a nurturing, orderly, and safe Christian environment in which to learn and grow. You are seeking out a preschool where the staff is as cared for as they are caring. This is easier said than done which is overwhelming. We believe this is unjust. We understand that the struggle is real, so we started Little Life Preschool for your family, which is staffed by ours. We care for children 6 weeks to 5 years old and welcome the opportunity to partner with you to provide your child with the best early childhood care and Christian education to prepare your child for many years of learning success.

When one of our parents shared that she felt Little Life Preschool provided her with “practically, a second mom” to nurture her child it encompassed what we intended to provide for all our parents and students. Providing a caring staff is a worthwhile challenge that we wholeheartedly embraced. Thankfully, because we are part of New Life Austin, we have many wonderful, caring, and engaged people from whom to select.

Curriculum

Classrooms are equipped with the following learning centers: Language & Literacy, Mathematics, Science, Sensory, Block Building, Art, Fine Motor Manipulatives, and Dramatic Play. Learning centers are designed to motivate children to learn through interaction with a variety of developmentally appropriate materials and equipment.

We follow ABC Jesus Loves Me, an excellent Bible-based curriculum. Christian values and themes are taught through Bible stories, Bible verses, and Bible songs. The curriculum prepares children for kindergarten in a non-stressful way and gives a solid foundation in academics.

Little Life Church provides opportunities for worship, prayer, and Bible learning each week. Little Life Music Class introduces children to music by learning fun songs, finger plays, and games. Children share what they have learned in our Christmas and Spring programs.

Frequently Asked Questions

What curriculum do you use?

“ABC Jesus Loves Me”

Step 1. We use redirection

Step 2. We have a calming center in each class that is provided with measures, different techniques and toys to calm.

Step 3. We call the parent

We try all of the resources and give the child time, some adjust early on and others it’s a process. If we have tried everyhing and the child will not calm then we call the parent.

They have to be fever free without fever reducing medications for 24 hours with a signed Dr. note

Do you provide the meals at school?

No we do not. The parents provides the meal daily for their student.

Yes and renew every two years

We have a gym inside of our building that has central heat and air. We can still provide play outside of the classroom.

We stay within the state regulation for each class.
